HOW DO I BOOK?
Books open for new inquiries every two months or so, and last minute openings are announced via Instagram. New clients can also sign up for the mailing list found below the homepage which sends out emails a few days before the booking window with instructions on how to submit their idea. Booking ideas are submitted through a JotForm document, the link will only accept 100 ideas per submission window.
After I’m APPROVED?
Upon approval, clients will be sent a private booking link to the scheduling portal. From here the client can book an appointment date as well as a virtual consultation (optional) to discuss their idea in more detail. Available booking dates are typically two months out from being approved, but consultation dates can be as soon as two weeks from the approval day. Consultations are always free, and the tattoo appointment itself will require a deposit to hold the spot.
Deposit?
Deposits will always come out of the final cost day of the appointment, think of it as a partial pre-payment.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Clients can bring anything that will make them more comfortable: snacks, drinks, headphones, a blanket, a pillow, etc.. There is a fridge and a microwave in the studio, and additional drinks and snacks are always provided if needed. If the client would prefer a silent session they’re more than welcome to communicate so via email or Instagram DM before their appointment date.
Total Cost?
Appointments are charged at a rate of either $500 for a half day, $1000 for a full day, or occasionally smaller projects are taken on at a rate of $190/hour. Cash is preferred, however card, Venmo, Zelle, and Paypal are accepted.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Bringing along emotional support is just fine, but since the studio is small please refrain from bringing more than one person. Kestrel Studios is located on Santa Fe in Denver, so there’s plenty of sightseeing to be done for anyone that comes along while they wait for your appointment to be finished.
